  Dear Parents and Carers,

   

  Well, this wasn’t the start that I expected, as you can imagine! Having been seriously ill with pneumonia over the Christmas break and into January, I am pleased to say that I am feeling much better now. I am really looking forward to coming into school from tomorrow, for a few hours to start with, and then building up until I am properly full-time again, hopefully sometime next week. I would like to thank all the staff, children, parents/carers and governors for their patience, good wishes and for ensuring the school carried on its great work while I’ve got myself back on my feet again. I am very much looking forward to getting to know you all properly and settling into life at Langold Dyscarr after my unexpected detour!
