    Year 6/6A -

WISHING YEAR 6/6A THE VERY BEST OF LUCK

    Education isn’t just about

    School, classes and grades.

    It is about knowledge

    That with time, doesn’t fade.

    The true essence of studying

    Lies in being passionate,

It’s about a zealous urge to be

In charge of one’s own fate.

Mrs Emery is very proud of the determination and resilience you’ve shown during the count down. Remember, SATs DO NOT define you, do your best and your best is good enough.

    Year 6 - Amazing Children

The time has come around again - and all too quickly. Your children have been amazing; the way that they have conducted themselves through this difficult time is a credit to them and to their families who have supported them. Thank you.

Every child has applied themselves and given their best in every way and this is all I can ever ask of them. Once again the children of Langold have risen to the challenge.

It is important to reiterate that we all recognise that the children can only do their best next week and I am confident that they will do just that. This is their chance to shine!

On a happier note we have lots to look forward to:

    our treat to the seaside

    our school production

and our leavers’ celebrations - to name but a few.

We will provide breakfast - toast and a choice of toppings and drinks for the children each morning before SATs, they will need to let us know if they intend to join us for breakfast.

I shall also have a supply of biscuits and treats for the children - although if you would prefer fruit I can supply bananas too (please let me know in advance so that I can provide these).

It might be advisable though, for the children to bring in a refillable water bottle during SATs week, they will need to keep well hydrated.

If there is any way at all that I can support your child through next week - other than that which has been arranged, please come and talk to me so that I can make arrangements.

Thank you once again for your continued support.
