  Year 5 Assembly - A Snap Shot of Anglo Saxon Life!

  Last week Year 5 had their class assembly where they were able to share their work and their acting skills with parents and the whole school! The children re-enacted Beowulf, the legend they have been learning about in Literacy. They read a poem on the Anglo Saxons and introduced us to some of their gods. Many of the class showcased what they had been creating in their art and topic lessons, and discussed Anglo Saxon houses, their village life and their weapons. Thank you, Year 5 - we learnt lots of new things from your assembly.
