  • Free School Meals for Infants (children in F2, Year 1 and Year 2)

    Sun 07 Sep 2014

Thank you to all the parents who returned the forms to us before the summer holidays indicating that they would like to take advantage of the government’s free school meals offer for infants.       The information you provided was really helpful to us and enabled us to plan for the increased numbers that we anticipated this week.                                                                                                             We would just like to clarify that infant pupils can opt in and out of free school meals as you wish, even if you did not return the expression of interest form to us in July. You do not need to notify us in advance, simply send your child with a packed lunch if you would like them to have sandwiches or remind them to say that they are having a school meal when the teacher takes the register in the morning if this is your preference.                                                                                                                   Please do not hesitate to contact the school office if you have any  questions or would like further clarification of the arrangements.

  • Polite Reminder - School Uniform Policy

    Sun 07 Sep 2014

It is our school uniform policy that pupils wear a royal blue jumper or cardigan (with or without the logo). We would prefer the children not to wear black tops as this sets them apart from others and can create competition between the children. I also ask that children do not wear bright-coloured trainers for school as flat, black shoes are requested in our policy. Thank you for your support in this matter.
