  F1 - Eating our home-grown cress!

  We can recommend our home-grown cress! On Friday, we made egg and cress sandwiches. Mrs P bought some hard-boiled eggs in from the shop and some tiny bantam eggs from her chickens. We were able to compare the size and the taste! Did you know the bantam eggs are much smaller because the bantam hens are smaller? We loved the egg and cress sandwiches—they were delicious!                                                                                                                                                                   As well as checking the growth of the cress we have been watching our caterpillars getting fatter and preparing to go through a metamorphosis. We are eagerly waiting for them to turn into a chrysalis.
