Year 4 - Poets

Year 4A have written some amazing poems based on our new topic - Robin Hood. We looked at the painting 'Robin Hood' by Daniel Maclise and used this for inspiration. Firstly, we collected a word bank based on the 5 senses, we came up with some interesting vocabulary! We then looked at a range of poems to decide on a style. We used rhyming couplets because we found these to be effective. We really enjoyed creating our poems, and hope that you enjoy reading some of them too:
