Year 3 - Volcanoes  

In Year 3 this week, we have been looking at volcano cross sections. We’re now pretty knowledgeable about the Earth’s layers and plate tectonics, but we’re learning to label the parts of a volcano and understand how volcanoes are formed.  Did you know there are extinct volcanoes in the UK? Who can find out where our nearest extinct volcano is? Let Year 3 know if you find out and see if you are right.
