Myths and Legends

This half term, Year 5 have been looking at myths, legends and fables. During a Literacy lesson they began to create their own legend and Leighton began excellently!                                                             In ancient times in a valley in Cairo, a  pyramid stood tall and straight by the mighty river Nile. Suddenly, a Cyclops threatened to demolish the majestic pyramid. However, a brave Pharaoh called Tutankhamen decided to stop the Cyclops. Even though he knew it would be dangerous, he was brave. He got a sling shot and a stone and blinded the Cyclops in the eye!
