Milk Is Cool!

Langold Dyscarr Community School was delighted to welcome John Mann to our Special Mentions assembly to explain the Cool Milk Scheme.

Mr Mann explained the scheme to the children and also told us about how he became the School Milk Monitor, when he was at school, because he could not sing — instead of practising with the choir he delivered the milk! He also reminded the children just how healthy milk is and how important it is to drink your milk everyday. Mr Mann returned to his Milk Monitor role when, as part of the scheme, he was able to arrange for milk to be delivered to every child in the school.

We are sure that Mr Mann must have been very impressed with our ‘Special Mentions’ children and the 5 karate stars who earned their Red Belt, Holly Bierton, Isabelle Mill, Seth Wheeler, Samuel Salari and James McNamara.
