Happy Hub - Willy and the Wobbly House

The children in the Happy Hub have been reading Willy and the Wobbly House. The story focuses on likes and  dislikes. The children have made their own ‘Wobbly House’  and made a list of their likes and dislikes. They have also discussed different strategies they can use to find ways to tolerate situations they may not like.

  • Another Fun Term of Learning in FSU!

    Sat 18 Apr 2015

Another Fun Term of Learning in FSU!

In F1 we finished off our topic with one of our favourite books—We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. We went on our own Bear HUNT into Dyscarr Wood but we didn’t find him! Although we didn’t find him, we DID have lots of fun looking for him! The children have used their skills to make ‘owly’ Easter cards and nests—we wish you a very happy Easter eating lots of chocolate eggs - yum yum!

F2 also went on a very longggg Bear Hunt - we had a lovely healthy walk through the squelchy mud and found lots and lots of interesting things to talk about. There were many hiding holes where we thought some animals might live - Harry was sure that he had found a mouse’s house in the tree.

We have loved making our Easter chick cards (don’t they look beautiful—just like us?) and Easter nests with our mini chocolate eggs—we can’t wait to eat them! On Thursday we had our party - after all our hard work this term we were ready to party together and practise our social skills whilst having fun. Happy Easter from F2 !
