F2 - Our Colourful World of Learning!

We had a brilliant first trip to Langold library last week! We sat in a circle and sang songs and used musical instruments. We were very noisy, but we  loved it! We then all chose a book to take home.  

Lunch time was very special last Friday for our first Golden Ticket winners.                                          This week we have been looking at colours and went for a walk in the woods. We saw lots of wonderful things and collected some to take back to the classroom.  We wrote some super sentences describing what we saw. The wood was full of beautiful colours—we loved the different shades of green, yellow and brown. We have also had a brilliant time using paints for colour mixing. We created our own big colour wheel.

In gymnastics we learnt the log roll. We are making super progress with our gymnastics.                 For European Day of Languages we learnt to sing Frère Jacques, count to 10 and greet each other in French. We loved singing Frère Jacques in assembly to the rest of the school. What a busy week!
