EYFS Autumn Term Art Project

Bumble Bee & Honey Bee class studied the artists Jackson Pollock, Andy Goldsworthy and Yayoi Kusama this term and explored a range of making skills in continuous provision.

KS1 Autumn Term Art Project

Mason Bee, Mining Bee and Long-Horned Bee class studied the artists Frida Kahlo, Hilary Cartmel and Danielle Vaughan this term creating mixed media still life art.

Year 3 Autumn Term Art Project

Orchid Bee class studied the artists Yayoi Kusama, Georges Seurat, and Barbara Hepworth this term creating clay sculptures of a pumpkins.

Year 4 Autumn Term Art Project

Tree Bee class studied the artists Henri Matisse and Gillian Ayres as well ancient art such as the Mayan Chac Mool and Tzolk'in Calendar this term creating a Mayan mural blocks.

Digger Bee class studied the artist Anni Albers and studied Anglo Saxon jewellery this term creating their own piece of jewellery embellished with textiles.

Black Bee class studied the artist L.S Lowry, Vincent Van Gogh and William Morris this term creating paintings of an industrial scene with window overlay.

Black Bee class have been inspired by artists such as Eliza Southwood, Frank Bowling and J. M. W. Turner this term creating a painting capturing the journey made on the ship ‘Empire Windrush’.
