Miss Curry welcomes you to Y6!

Our school day starts at 8.35 with lessons up until break at 10.15 until 10.30 and Lunch at 12.15.

Lessons start again at 1pm and the school day ends at 3.10pm.

Our daily expectations:

• Reading diary in school EVERY DAY with evidence of reading EVERY DAY. 
• Homework selected from Takeaway menu and handed in will receive house points!
• Times tables and KIRFs practised every day - This will help in Maths lessons.
• Full uniform worn every day and correct PE kit worn on PE days (TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY).

Welcome to your new school year in Y6 Black Bees!

This will be your last year at Langold and we want to make it the very best!

This Autumn term we will base all of our learning around Victorian Britain.

We will look at what life was like during the Victorian era, particularly focussing on children. What jobs did they have? What was life like for them and how did they survive?

In Art, our project will be 'From a Victorian Window' and will study Vincent Van Gogh and Lowry.

In Science lessons, we will focus on Light and Electricity. 

PE lessons will begin with Gymnastics and Hockey.

Computing lessons will focus on coding using Purple Mash.

During PSHE sessions we will follow the DaART program dealing with drugs and alcohol education.
