In Music we will be completing out Ukulele course for the year and then using the world famous percussion band 'Stomp' as inspiration to create our own class band using household items such as bins, chopsticks and pans.

Autumn Term 2013-2014
On 14th November, Year 2 went on a trip to The Fire and Police Museum in Sheffield. We had an excellent time. We dressed up in various fire-fighters uniforms from past to present and tried to put out the Great Fire of London with buckets.
The children's behaviour was exceptional, as always. However, the same could not be said for Miss Marsh, Mrs Norman, Mrs Wood and Mrs Merrills. Year 2 locked them inside a riot van!
e
We also got to look around various fire vehicles. We enjoyed sitting inside them and putting on the helmets.
Christmas has arrived in Year 2. On Monday we spent some time decorating our beautiful tree. What do you think?
