KS2 SATS RESULTS 2018

I have pleasure in informing you of the summary results of the KS2 SAT assessments (2018) that have now been returned to school.  The Summary Table below gives a full breakdown of the results but the headline figures are as follows:

 

Reading:

52.4% Attained Expected Standard (+14.5% on 2017 results)

 

Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation :

61.9% Attained Expected Standard (+13.6% on 2017 results).

 

Writing: 66.7% Attained Expected Standard (+4.6% on 2017 results)

 

Maths: 57.1% Attained Expected Standard (+19.2% on 2017 results)

 

Combined Reading, Writing and Maths: 38.1% (+10.5% on 2017 results)

We are justifiably very proud of all of our Year 6 pupils but recognise that we still have improvements to make. We are confident that results will improve significantly  this year.
