Introducing our Head Boy and Head Girl
Pupil voice is of great importance to us at Langold Dyscarr Community School. We encourage the children to have their say in what happens within the life of our community. The Head Boy and Head Girl have a variety of responsibilities but along with the school council, they are the voice the pupils. The two representatives are selected by the Headteacher for their excellent reputations throughout their school life. They are they are what we call at LDCS the 'always' children. They always work hard, always do the right thing, are always good human beings and always have excellent attendance at school. Please click on the links below to find the Head Boy and Girl's speeches which they made to the school in a special assembly.
Mrs Huthart was very proud to introduce our new Head Girl, Isabelle Price, Head Boy, William Robinson, Deputy Head Girl Holly Bierton, Deputy Head Boy Robert Szuba and our new School Ambassadors to the school. They have all been chosen for being excellent role models and always doing the right thing. Isabelle, William, Holly and Robert all gave a short speech telling us how they would serve the school, here are just a few of the pledges they made: “helping others”, “support all pupils” , “give 100% to doing the job to the best of my ability”, “help make school as happy as I can” “help others as much as possible”. The Ambassadors were chosen by the staff for always doing the right thing, setting a good example and always wearing school uniform.
We look forward to seeing you all flourish in your new roles!
